Conferences (Valdivia and Dubna)

Shortly after I left Austin, I had the opportunity (thanks to the NSF) to visit Valdivia in Chile for the 2002 PASI school on quantum gravity. The pictures I took there are found here. In 2003, I went to Dubna for the International Advanced Summer School on Modern Mathematical Physics and took these pictures.

Places I lived (Austin and Paris)

Among the places I hold dearest in the world is certainly Austin/Texas, and therefore I wrote a brief online introduction shortly after I went there. Probably I will replace the pictures and add some improved comments when I find the time. I was certainly also deeply impressed by the (insert arbitrary adjectives) city of Paris, and so I started to write this little (and unfinished) web-something about Paris.

Irland-Pictures

Due to several requests, I created a small gallery with pictures from Ireland, which will certainly be extended in the future. For some reason I started writing the comments in German, now it's to late to change it. Enjoy.
